How it works
Whitening lightens the shade of your teeth with a gel that acts on stains in the enamel. At the clinic we activate it with the Zoom lamp, which concentrates the effect into one session; you then boost it at home with trays made to measure and a lower-strength gel.
The combination of the two gives a stronger and more stable result than either on its own.
Who it is for
For anyone whose teeth have yellowed or darkened with time, coffee, tea, wine or tobacco. It works on natural teeth: crowns, veneers and fillings do not change colour, and we will tell you beforehand so the result is even.
Before whitening we check there is no decay or gum problem, and we do a clean so that the gel works on clean enamel.
How we do it at the clinic
We protect the gums, apply the gel and activate it with the Zoom lamp in one session. We give you the trays with instructions to carry on at home for a few days.
Some sensitivity during treatment is normal; it passes, and we will tell you how to reduce it. You receive a competitive quote, in writing and by email, before we start, and everything is explained in English.
