What veneers are
A veneer is a very thin shell of porcelain bonded to the outer face of the tooth. It corrects the shade, shape and size of the tooth, closes small gaps or hides wear and chips, all with minimal preparation of the tooth.
Porcelain mimics the translucency of natural enamel, so the result blends in with the neighbouring teeth.
Who it is for
For anyone who wants to improve the look of their front teeth: darkened teeth that do not respond to whitening, worn edges, slightly crooked teeth or irregular shapes.
Before suggesting veneers we check that the gums are healthy and the bite is stable. In some cases another solution is more suitable, such as orthodontics or crowns, and we will tell you so.
How we do it at the clinic
Dr Olga Puchades Román, who leads our cosmetic dentistry, studies your case and plans the result with you. We use a digital scanner to take measurements without moulds and design each veneer to measure.
Treatment takes just a few visits: minimal preparation of the tooth, a trial fitting and final bonding. You receive a competitive quote, in writing and by email, before we start, and everything is explained in English.
You can see veneers fitted at our clinic on the real cases page.
